BACKFLOW TESTING
Oregon State law requires testable backflow assemblies—such as double-check valves and reduced pressure principle detector assemblies—to be tested at least once every 12 months. Testing is also required directly after installation, repairs, relocation, or any backflow incident.
As a home or property owner, it is your responsibility to schedule this test with an Oregon Health Authority–certified backflow tester, like myself. Please fill out the information below, and I will email you with available testing dates. You don’t need to be home during the test, as long as I can access the device.
Payment can be made in advance, or you may leave a check in a prearranged location. I will leave a copy for you and submit the official report directly to your water provider.
If your device doesn’t pass the test, your water provider will reach out with a list of approved plumbers who can handle the repair. Retests will be available to you at a reduced fee.
