Landscape Design

Blooming Desert is passionate about design and feels that it is the key element to any enjoyable and functional outdoor living space.  Our specialty is modern and mid-century modern landscape design, however, we enjoy working with all design styles.

We find our High Desert climate to be unique and love the challenge it brings to each project, large or small.  With Drew and Shannon’s combined experience in landscape design and installation, they offer unparelleled attention to detail, sleek and elegant hardscape solutions, unique plant combinations, and sensible solutions to troubling spaces.

Blooming Desert designs on a CAD program, allowing easy collaboration with builders, architects and engineers.  Computer generated site plans, designs and drawings can easily and efficiently be emailed to our local and out-of-town clients.

Drew and Shannon also offer hour consultations to do-it-yourself homeowners.  We believe in gardening for success here in the High Desert.  You can learn tips and tricks of the trade that will help you be successful for years to come.

Drew and Shannon have been strong supporters of modern and mid century design at Palm Springs Modernism Week for the past 5 years.  Locally, Shannon has taught plant workshops at the Deschutes Public Library and offered her design and plant knowledge to the Bend Design Conference, C.O.C.C., OSU Extension Service Garden Tour, Central Oregon Master Gardens Program, Bend Habitat for Humanity and The Environmental Center.  Click HERE to see when Shannon’s next workshop will be.
